Leurs oeuvres s&rsquo;\u00e9laborent par assemblage, superposition ou substitution, autant de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s qui tentent de mettre \u00e0 distance les sujets trait\u00e9s, mais qui en m\u00eame temps d\u00e9voilent un travail de compilation gargantuesque et quasi compulsif de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences. Celles-ci proviennent autant des cultures historiques, vernaculaires ou pop. Le dessin est omnipr\u00e9sent. Parfois, il permet \u00e0 la pens\u00e9e d&rsquo;exister sous forme d&rsquo;esquisses et de notes, d&rsquo;autres fois il est le d\u00e9cor de c\u00e9ramiques, souvent il est l&rsquo;outil qui int\u00e8gre de fa\u00e7on sous-jacente mais n\u00e9anmoins pr\u00e9gnante les objets dans une trame narrative toujours pr\u00e9sente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\">Les techniques et les savoir-faire sont aussi des \u00e9l\u00e9ments constitutifs de la pratique artistique de Lamarche-Ovize. Ils se r\u00e9f\u00e8rent d&rsquo;ailleurs explicitement \u00e0 la philosophie de William Morris, fondateur du mouvement \u00ab\u00a0Arts &amp; Crafts\u00a0\u00bb dans les ann\u00e9es 1860, qui refusait la distinction entre l&rsquo;art et l&rsquo;artisanat.<br>Le d\u00e9cloisonnement des pratiques se traduit dans leur travail par le fait de s&rsquo;adjoindre r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des artistes ou des artisants. Ils manifestent clairement un go\u00fbt prononc\u00e9 pour le motif et le d\u00e9coratif, de m\u00eame qu&rsquo;un int\u00e9r\u00eat pour le bricolage.
